My family is traditional, my parents are engineers and both work and my sister and I studied.


Most of the family in general are women are married and the rest are men and working with the family in business. The family gradually grow more.


I love share with my family, they are sociable and funny.

Robbery at the Bank

"Robbery millonaire in two ATM machines in the mall Doral Center"

The incident occurred at 1.00 am on Wednesday, and was not reported to the regional police autorities.

A command group of offenders comprised of six armed men robbed two ATM machines located on the second level of the Doral Center Mall in Maracaibo.

On the site, criminals realized that beside cash dispensers had an open food place since three masons executed remodeling activities. 

At the event, the thugs subdued the workers and who were six guards on duty that night at the premises of the mall. The nine handcuffed with tape, put them on the premises and took away their phones.

During the robbery, which lasted at least four hours, crooks food and drink offered to victims, to whom he repeated: "Relax the mob would be reached."

After the robbery, troops from the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations (CICPC) rushed to the scene and collected the necessary information for research.

My opinion is :

I doubt they recover the lost. 

Should have more security at the mall.

I bet that they catch the robbers.

RAFAEL REIF

Rafael Reif was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, to Eastern-European Jewish parents, who immigrated to Venezuela in the 1930s through Ecuador and Colombia. His father was a photographer, and the family spoke Yiddish and Spanish at home.

L. Rafael Reif is a Venezuelan American electrical engineer and academic administrator. He is the provost of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and will be the 17th president of MIT when he succeeds Susan Hockfield in July 2012. Reif previously served as the head of MIT's Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the director of the MIT Microsystems Technology Laboratories.

Reif received his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the Universidad de Carabobo, Valencia, Venezuela in 1973. He then served for a year as an assistant professor at Universidad Simón Bolívar in Caracas. He came to the United States for graduate school, earning his doctorate in electrical engineering from Stanford University in 1979. He then spent a year as a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Stanford.

Reif joined the MIT faculty in January 1980 as an assistant professor of electrical engineering. He was promoted to associate professor in 1983, earned tenure in 1985, and became a full professor in 1988. He now holds the Maseeh Professorship in Emerging Technology.

Before his appointment as Provost in 2005, his research centered on three-dimensional integrated circuit technologies and on environmentally benign microelectronics fabrication.

Reif was director of MIT’s Microsystems Technology Laboratories, then associate department head for Electrical Engineering in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), MIT's largest academic department, and then served as EECS department head in 2004-2005.

Reif is a fellow of the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers and is a member of Tau Beta Pi and the Electrochemical Society. The Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC), awarded him the 2000 Aristotle Award for “his commitment to the educational experience of SRC students and the profound and continuing impact he has had on their professional careers.” For his work in developing MITx, MIT's initiative in developing free online college courses available to learners anywhere with an Internet connection, which was launched in December 2011, he received the 2012 Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Award.

My name is Karla Perozo, I'm 17 years old, I’m from Maracaibo, originally. I live in Maracaibo, in Bella vista and I have a big family. My mom is a security industrial and my dad an engineer. I have one sister.

I study engineering at URBE . This trimester i am taking 6 classes and Iam in the 5th trimester.My favorite subjects are mathematics and English.

I love music, dancing, share with my family,friends and my boyfriend ,talking on the phone with my friends. My favorite food is Arroz chino and I like chocolate very much. The most important to me is my family ,my boyfriend and my studies. I also enjoy going out with my friends.

I hate running, listening to rock, getting up early on the weekend. I can't stand people smoking.

My dream is to travel around the world, visit the Orlando Florida and The Vegas. I want to graduate from Engineering and be a good engineer. I also would love to learn to speak Mandarin. I want to work in an important company and get married and start a family.

About English, I think English is very important.  I like listen to music and watch TV in English. I also chat on the internet with my friends. I can write well, but I need to practice more.The mos difficult for me is speaking.I hope I can make a lot of friends and practice speaking in this class.
